BOUNTY PROGRAM
The South Jersey Traffic Safety Alliance has established to Bounty Program to educate the public about the dangers of using old and used car seats and about the proper disposal and destruction of old and used car seats. It also includes identifying organizations interested in being drop off agencies for old and used seats.
The County Sheriff's Offices and the Delaware River Bay Authority (Cape May Lewes Ferry), in Cape May County, have signed on to be the Lead Agencies, responsible for the proper disposal of the seats.
Drop off agencies will work with the County Lead Agencies to ensure that seats are in each county to dispose of those seats.
