To Alliance now has a trailer for use by members and organizations interested in hosting community education programs, such as child safety seat inspections, bicycle and pedestrian safety.
The trailer is full of pamphlets and safety items. There are also tents, cones and signs. After each event, users are required to send in a form outlining what items were used and how many so that the trailer can be properly restocked. To borrow the trailer, an organization must send in a signed and notorized use agreement (above), taking on the liability of the trailer. It must then be picked up and returned.
Below is a listing of exactly what is in the trailer for each program. Go to the Pamphlets and Commodities pages to see the items.
Child Passenger Safety - The trailer has a storage bin full of supplies to check child safety seats. They include forms, pens, clip boards, shelving, emergency id stickers, and a scale. The trailer also has noodles, signs and replacement seats. The seats in the trailer are to be used to replace a seat that is unsafe. Please be sure to complete the appropriate form.
Bike Safety - The trailer has brochures, spoke reflectors and Helmet ID Systems. There are Bicycle Safety Bowl signs, side walk chalk and skills test layouts.
Pedestrian Safety - In addition to brochures, the trailer has snap action wrist bands and shoe pockets.
Buckle Up Stencil - The trailer does have one of the stencils as well as some paint but requests for the stencil should be submitted to the Alliance for painting. Go to the Buckle Up Stencil page for a form.
