What is
the Standardized CPS Training Program?
A 32 hour
program covering all aspects of child passenger seat safety and the installation of child
passenger seats, culminating in a written test and public checkpoint.
Topics
include: basics of injury prevention, crash
dynamics, Federal role and safety standards, vehicle occupant protection systems,
selecting child seats and securing children, correct installation of child seats, and
misuse and incompatibility issues.

Participants should be prepared for the substantial physical activity needed to install
safety seats.
Costs
The cost is
$60.00 for the 2 year certification. Re-certification is on-line and
costs $40.00.
